2024 Auction
Come Toast Mame at the Silver and Gold Gala!
This year’s auction is a special one. Glenridge’s beloved director, Mame Campbell, is retiring at the end of 2024. Our live auction on Saturday, November 16, is also her retirement party. In honor of Mame and the 28 amazing years she’s given to this school, we invite you to the Silver and Gold Gala.
Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver and the other gold.
Our kids sing this song at logs, and Mame leads the children in singing it together at graduation. It’s a favorite of Mame’s and is the transition song at Glenridge. What better way to mark Mame’s own farewell from Glenridge! So come, get decked out in silver and gold—add sparkles of any hue—and join us at the Green Room to cut the rug with Mame and our bighearted Glenridge community.
2024 Auction: Online and Live

The evening would not be complete without performances from Gayle as well as Kerry and his band, Porch. The live auction will be led once again by our inimitable emcee, alumni parent Adam Zimman. Get your golden ticket here, and see the FAQ for more information on ticketing tiers.

Online Auction FAQs
How do people sign up for the online auction?
First, create an account here. Once our catalog is live, you can browse and heart items that you want to keep track of for bidding.
What is in the online auction?
The online auction contains hundreds of items generously donated by businesses and individuals from across the community. From gift certificates to local restaurants and businesses to sporting events, handcrafted items, art, and jewelry—this is the place to shop for gifts and treat yourself while also raising vital funds that support Glenridge’s future in the canyon.
How do I bid in the online auction?
Our online silent auction is set up to enable max bids. With max bids, you specify the maximum amount that you are willing to pay for an item, and the software raises your bid for you as other people place bids. If there is a bid beyond your specified maximum, you will receive an email notification to let you know that you have been outbid so that you can decide if you want to increase your max bid.
How do I keep track of my bids?
You can view all of the items you have bid on by clicking on My Bids in the upper-right corner of the catalog page.
How do I pay?
Once the online silent auction has closed, you will be notified by email of the items you won, and you will receive an invoice. Please use the link included in the email to pay your invoice online with a credit card.
How do people pick up the items they won?
Physical gift certificates and items won in the online silent auction and the live auction will all be available for pickup in San Francisco on Thursday, November 21 (4:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m.) and Saturday, November 23 (10:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.). The pickup location will be shared with winning bidders.
What about gift certificates?
We will email gift certificates when possible. Check the information in the catalog listing to see if the item you are bidding on is a digital certificate that can be emailed or a physical gift certificate that will need to be picked up.
How do I pick up won items if I’m unable to attend pickup days?
It is important to note that Glenridge will not be delivering or shipping won items. If you are unable to come to one of the pickup days, please contact a current Glenridge family or another friend and ask them to pick up your items.
Can I just donate directly to the school?
Yes! Thank you for your support. Donate to keep tuition affordable and help cover the costs of running our school. Glenridge Cooperative Nursery School is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, ID #94-1731144, and gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
What is my online handle?
When you sign up to participate in the online auction, you will be asked to choose an online handle. This name will be attached to your bids and be visible to other bidders. Your online handle can be your name or something more anonymous. If you’d like to bid as a couple, you will need to bid using the same user account. You can put both names in the name field if you like.
How do I change my online handle?
You can change your handle by logging in, selecting your name from the upper right, going to My Account, and scrolling down to find Edit My Information. More questions? Email auction@glenridgecoop.org.
